In
addition to the academic standing of the students, the U.S.
universities would like to evaluate the students' aptitude
to pursue a rigorous undergraduate or graduate program.
Those students whose native language is not English have
to demonstrate a level of proficiency in English language
required to study in U.S.A where English is the language
of instruction.
Students
who apply to U.S univerities have take such of the following
tests as may be appropriate to their study objective:
TOFEL
- Test of English as a Foreign Language, to be taken by
all the students whose native language is not English.
TSE
- (Test of spoken English) and TWE(Test of written English).
The relevance of the test is to be checked with the admission
requirements stipulated by universities.
SAT
- (Scholastic Aptitude Test)- to be taken by applicants
for undergraduate programs.
GRE
- Graduate Record Examination- to be taken by the applicants
for graduate programs,except those who wish to apply for
graduate programs in Business Administration.
GMAT
- Graduate Management Aptitude Test- to be taken by all
applicants for graduate programs in Business Administration.
